THERE WILL BE PAIN!

NOTE:   The following is my advice column regarding the forced resignation of Randy Brogdon as Oklahoma Republican party chairman. If you prefer polite columns, you won’t like this one. If you are fed up with everything, keep reading.

First, I need to mention my background. I ran, as a Republican, for Rogers County Clerk at age 20 in 1988 when the local party was dormant. In 1994, I worked over the summer at the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C. From 1980 to 2010, I volunteered in over 100 campaigns and served as State Committeeman from Rogers County 1989-1991. I know the system well.
Randy Brogdon was on Pat Campbell’s show Friday, September 4. He didn’t say who ran him out, he just shrugged his shoulders and announced his retirement from political life. Randy is a gentlemen, but he’s a chump to the bullies who forced him out. Those thugs knew they could make his life hell and he wouldn’t hit back... they were right. But that’s Randy. Those that ran him out are bastards because they must have their way all the time! Last April, the bastards lost to the grass roots backing Randy.
From that moment forward they went after him relentlessly. First it was legitimate. T.C. Ryan was Randy’s pick for political director but T.C. had real skeletons in his closet. The T.C. saga lasted too long. Eventually, Governor Mary Fallin did her one time rival Randy Brogdon a favor by stepping in and insisting T.C. leave. T.C. did leave and that should have been that. But of course the bastards had to keep attacking Brogdon so as to make his life unpleasant to say the least. And because he’s a nice man, they knew they could get away with it. Those bastards got their wealthy, snob friends to close their checkbooks to the party while Brogdon was Chairman.
Several years ago, a wealthy Tulsa businessman told me he normally opened his estate for Republican gatherings. But when Sally Bell was Tulsa County Republican Chairman, he refused. That same businessman supported Democrat Karen Keith for Tulsa County Commissioner against Bell. Sally Bell was too conservative, too common, and “yuk” she once owned an amusement park! You see, to those people you little Tea Party folk in your nondescript neighborhoods, with your public school kids, need to know your place! You’re not to lead anything. You, little ones, are to follow them! Besides money the real difference between us and them is we believe in something. We want to save the country. They want to manage America’s decline and reap financial rewards for themselves along the way.

We are Jim Bridenstine. They are Tom Cole. We are Ted Cruz. They are Jeb.

And one other big difference, there’s a lot more of us than there are of them! Here’s what you now need to do: stop giving money to the state and national party. Give it to candidates you like. If they don’t win, pick up your marbles and go home! Yes, that’s what the bastards will say about you, but they hate you anyway.
Over the years I’ve been around many of those people and heard for myself what they really think of you...it’s not pretty. When it comes to abortion those bastards are like the American Cancer Society about cancer. “Oh, were against it, but God forbid it ever gets outlawed or cured; our funding would dry up!” How would they keep Christian conservatives in line if they didn’t have the abortion issue to drive them to the polls year after year? No they can’t de-fund Planned Parenthood, not this year, not next, not ever.
Today, I’m a registered Independent so you can discount what I write if you like. I used to be a Republican, until I got fed up! My hunch is most of you will join me in five years time, if it takes you that long. Doubt me? Look at all the good things the Republicans have done since they took control of the U.S. House and Senate. Exactly! Randy Brogdon is a nice, good man. We now need to get mean and nasty with those bastards. They will always hate us. We should at least make them fear us.
